Hi, I’m Brittany!
I grew up playing soccer, so running was always part of the game, but I never thought I’d love running on its own or see myself as “a runner” outside of sports.
That changed when a friend invited me to train for a half marathon. What surprised me wasn’t just the physical challenge, but how much running built my confidence. It showed me I was capable of more than I thought, and that progress comes from training with consistency and intention, not from going as hard as I could every run.
Like a lot of runners, I’ve learned through trial and error. I’ve overtrained, compared myself to others, and doubted myself during workouts, then got frustrated when progress felt slow. Those experiences are a big part of why I coach the way I do now. Mind Body Running grew from my own experience learning how much the mind influences what the body can do. I’ve seen firsthand how intentionality, self-talk, and confidence can completely change how training feels and how progress unfolds.
I believe most runners don’t need more motivation—they need better guidance. Guidance that prioritizes truly easy runs, focuses on building aerobic strength without burnout, and encourages a mindset that supports growth instead of constant self-criticism. Running shouldn’t be something you dread, and effective training supports both progress and enjoyment.
My coaching is structured, supportive, and adaptable. I meet you where you are, help you understand what you’re doing and why, and guide you to trust yourself as a runner — whether you’re training for your first race or chasing a personal best.
When I’m not running, I’m usually exploring Colorado with my husband, spending time outside hiking, biking, or snowboarding, or thinking about how cute my cat, Rue, is.
